Frequently Asked Questions

Who can nominate?

Anyone and everyone! Yes, you can absolutely nominate yourself. So long as you have a link to accompanying footage of the performance you are nominating (not required for Trailblazer of the Year or Lifetime Achievement), then nominate away!

Who can be nominated?

Any Victorian based male or female over the age of 18 who has performed or competed in an aerial (pole, silk or lyra) event in 2016. This includes interstate events (as long as the performer is based in Victoria), showcases and winners of any competition throughout the year. Trailblazer of the Year and Lifetime Achievement nominees do not need to have performed or competed this year.

How do I nominate?

Go to our Nominate page, browse the award categories and fill in the nomination form at the bottom of the page (ensuring you fill in all details correctly). Add your link to a video of the relevant performance (Trailblazer of the Year and Lifetime Achievement are exempt from footage submission). Submit your nomination and sit tight. We will then review the nominations and a list of 4 finalists from each category will be determined. Please note entries close on Saturday, 24th September 2016.

How do I vote for finalists once they are chosen?
